Just a friend identifies herself when she calls. A best friend doesn't have to….

Just a friend opens a conversation with a full news bulletin on her life…. A best friend says, "What’s new with you?"

Just a friend thinks the problems you whine about are recent…. A best friend says, "You’ve been whining about the same thing for 14 years….. Get off your duff and do something about it!"

Just a friend has never seen you cry…… a best friend has shoulders soggy from your tears…..

Just a friend doesn't know your parents' first names….. A best friend has their phone numbers in his address book…..

Just a friend hates it when you call after she’s gone to bed…… a best friend asks you why you took so long to call…..

Just a friend seeks to talk with you about your problems….. A best friend seeks to help you with your problems….

Just a friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A best friend opens your refrigerator and helps herself…..

Just a friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument….. A best friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight…..

Just a friend expects you to always be there for them…… a best friend expects to always be there for you!

Let me introduce you to my "BEST” friend Lynn...

We met in 1958.....at the age of 6......in the 1st grade!!!! I didn't like her at 1st & would walk on the other side of the street to avoid her....she would run after me to catch up...it wasn’t long before I learned to love her like a sister...

Here we are in our junior high school years....the one on the left was taken at one of those five & dime stores....in one of those photo machines. The other one is of us all dolled up for our 9th grade parties....aren’t we beautiful? *smiles*

Lynn has been married for over 30 years to Gregg...they have 2 kids...Jeff & Natalie....Jeff is married to Stacy & they have 2 sons....Nick & Zach....
The picture on the left is of her & her family...Lynn’s 2 grandson’s, Nick & Zach are on the right....

Lynn travels 175 miles from Duluth to Minneapolis to give us a haircut...now that's a best friend!!!

We try to get together as often as we can...

We even got together for our 50th birthday....

She's one of the 1st ones we told when we found out Charlie has liver cancer....she cried just as hard as I did when she found out....
I know she'll always be there to watch over us with her love, support & prayers….

We try to get together every Christmas....this was taken last Christmas at the hotel room that Charlie & I had....

Lynn has been there for me in everything that I do with love & support...I don't know what I would do without her....when god sent me Lynn, he was showing me how much he loves me....she truly is a gift from god!! We will always be "best friends"..........
